School Schedule

 

School Hours

The school day begins at 7:50 A.M.  Students arriving before this time will go to a designated area to wait for dismissal to their class.   Instruction will begin at 7:50.  Any student arriving after 7:56 AM will be counted as tardy and must report to the front office for a tardy slip.  If you drop your child off after 8:00 AM, you must walk in with your child and sign them in.   Please remember that valuable instruction time is lost with consistent tardiness.  

School doors will NOT open until 7:00 A.M., and there will be no supervision of students before this time.  Breakfast 7:00-7:45.  Grab and Go breakfast will be available after these designated times.  

 

Car Rider Dismissal 

Students who are car riders are dismissed at 2:45.  You must have a car tag in your car issued by the school for anyone picking up your child.  All students who are car riders will be picked up in the upper parking lot on the school campus.  A child will NOT be released to anyone NOT having a school-issued car tag.  Anyone not having a car tag must come into the office to sign out a child.  Parents/Guardians unknown to the staff will be asked for identification.  If your child is going to ride home with someone else, we must have a note from the parent/guardian, and they will have to be picked up from the front office.  They will not be released through the pickup line.  

*No changes can be made to pickup arrangements after 2:00 pm each day. Please make sure to notify the front office of any changes prior to 2:00 pm.*

 

*A court decree is required before we can deny pick-up privileges to a biological parent. 

 

Parents who transport their children are asked to observe the starting and ending times as strictly as possible.  Tardiness/early dismissal not only places a burden on the individual child but also causes disruption to the entire class.  PLEASE NOTE that tardy events and early dismissals count toward the cumulative total time missed at the end of the year.
